Round Robin Story
(or “Pass-Along”)
- Objective: To create a spontaneous story and practice adapting to others’ ideas.
- How to Play:
- Someone starts a story with a single sentence.
- The next person adds the next sentence, building on what came before.
- Continue around the group until the story reaches a natural (or hilariously unnatural) conclusion.
- Variations:
- Paragraph Mode: Each person contributes a full paragraph instead of a sentence.
- Silent Mode: Use a shared document (like Google Docs) where each person types their sentence. This prevents people from planning their sentence while others are speaking.
- Best for: Plot development, improvisation, and group cohesion.
